Welcome to our Terms and Conditions.  Thank you for joining The Bible Box SA. This agreement governs your use of this website and subscription to Newsletter of The Bible Box SA. Please read the following terms of use and disclaimer carefully before using this website. By using this site, you agree to the following terms of use. The Bible Box SA reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use without further notice. You should periodically visit this page to review the current terms, so you are aware of any revisions. By accepting our terms of use, you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future terms, you may not use this site.

Your agreement to these Terms

Subject to the terms of this agreement, The Bible Box SA hereby grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to access and use the site for your own non-commercial personal use.

 

You may not reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise exploit this site or any portion of it unless expressly permitted by The Bible Box SA in writing.

Service description and box content

We will not be held responsible for any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense that you may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with the use of The Bible Box content.

 

It is your responsibility to review the ingredients of each product to avoid allergic reactions or other side effects. The products within the boxes are not manufactured by The Bible Box SA, but rather by our suppliers. All products in The Bible Box SA are to be used at own risk.

Payments

If you wish to make a purchase using the website, you will be required to provide The Bible Box SA information regarding your credit card. You warrant to The Bible Box SA that such information is true and that you are authorised to use the payment instrument. You agree to pay The Bible Box SA the amount that is specified in the service in accordance with these terms of service. All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

 

When you click to make a purchase with The Bible Box SA legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our Terms and Conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once an order is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries, please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.

 

We are not responsible for any fees or charges that your bank or credit card issuer may apply. If your credit card issuer reverses a charge to your credit card, we may bill your account directly and seek payment by another method including a mailed statement. All payments made are non-refundable. If you dispute any charges, you must let The Bible Box SA know within thirty (30) days after the date that The Bible Box SA charges you. If you did not receive the box or full-size product, but were charged for it, please contact us at info@thebiblebox.co.za.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

The Website shall be used entirely at a User’s own risk. We are not responsible for, and the User agrees that we will have no liability in relation to, the use of and conduct in connection with the Website, or any other person’s use of or conduct in connection with the Website, in any circumstance.

 

We cannot guarantee or warrant that any file downloaded from the Website or delivered to you via email will be free of infection or virus, worms, trojan horses or other code that has contaminating or destructive qualities. A User is responsible for implementing appropriate processes, systems and procedures to protect itself from this type of issue.

 

A User indemnifies us, and agrees to keep us indemnified, from and against any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense that we may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with a User’s improper use of or conduct in connection with the Website, including any breach by a User of these terms or any applicable law or licensing requirements.

 

To the extent that our liability cannot be excluded by law, our maximum liability, whether in contract, equity, statute or delict (including negligence), to a User will be limited to the minimum amount imposed by such law.

 

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these terms, in no circumstances will we be liable for any indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money or any loss or damages arising from or in any way connected to interruption of the Services of any type, whether in delict, contract or otherwise.

Warranties and disclaimers

You understand that The Bible Box SA is not the manufacturer of the products purchased by you hereunder and the only warranties offered are those of the manufacturer, not The Bible Box SA. In using the products, you are relying on the manufacturer’s specifications only and you are not relying on any statements, specifications, photographs, or other illustrations representing the products that may be provided by The Bible Box SA.

Shipping

We ship door-to-door in the Republic of South Africa only. Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. All orders must be placed before/or the 5th of each month. Shipment takes place on the 10th of each month. We aim to have your box at your door by the 15th of each month. Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment. Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.​

Law

The conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

The Bible Box SA does not accept returns of the boxes that are not faulty.

 

If the product that you received has inherent defects the product will we replaced at no cost subject to the customer submitting photo evidence of the particular defect.  Product refunds may be granted on a discretionary basis subject to the merits of each individual case. Once a box has been opened, it cannot be exchanged EXCEPT when there are defects in the box, caused by The Bible Box SA or by Courier services.

 

Returning of incorrect goods delivered
Should we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or is missing any parts:

  • Please do not remove the product from its original packaging or any of the stickers or labels.

  • Notify us as immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge and deliver the correct item/ items as soon as possible.

 

Returning of damaged goods
If your goods arrived damaged, please notify us within 7 working days by emailing info@thebiblebox.co.za

 

We will require the following information to assess where in the delivery process the damage may have occurred:

  • photograph of the outer box (including whether it has a Fragile sticker or not);

  • photograph of the inside of the box, including the inner packaging; and

  • photograph of the damaged item.

 

If necessary, we will arrange collection of the product from you at no charge.

Once we have inspected the product or photographs and validated your return (if needed), we will, according to your preference:

  • replace the product (if available); or

  • issue a refund voucher for the purchase price of the product or

  • Issue a cash refund (Electronic transfer)

CANCELATION POLICY

Once the payment is made, you cannot cancel your order.

PRIVACY POLICY

We will keep your information private. Subject to customer consent provided during ordering our products and subscribing to our newsletter, The Bible Box SA may send promotional materials to your provided email address or sell phone number. You may opt-out of these communications at any time.

The Bible Box SA does not share our customer information with any 3rd party other than the accredited payment providers who process the financial transactions. These institutions do not have the right to distribute or sell your information in any form.​
